Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy





  1. Your credit card will be charged within 24 hours of making your online booking. Your booking is not confirmed until a deposit has been received and you have received a deposit receipt letter.
    Reception hours are from 8.00 am – 6.00 pm. Please call 08 9948 1387 during office hours if you are arriving after hours. No arrivals after 9.00 pm unless prior arrangements have been made. 

  2. We have a strict one car per site or cabin policy due to limited parking spaces within the park grounds, more by arrangement with office. 

  3. If you are planning to bring a boat you must phone the office to make arrangements, if you do not your boat will be kept outside of the caravan park grounds. 

  4. Group bookings cannot be made online. Please call 08 9948 1387 if you wish to make a group booking. 

  5. Powered sites and Unpowered sites prices are based on 2 people, extra people (aged over 3 years) are $7 per night. Maximum of 6 people per site. 

  6. Accommodation prices are based on 2 people, extra people (aged over 3 years) are $10 per night 

  7. Accommodation units sleep a maximum of 4 – 6 people (including children & infants) depending on the type selected. On arrival, if the number of people exceeds the maximum for the unit type, we will not be able to accept the booking and it will be cancelled. No refund will be given. 

  8. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY ACCOMMODATION. For health and safety reasons Pets are strictly prohibited from ALL accommodation types, accommodation areas and Park buildings.  This includes the BBQ area, amenities area, pool area, or around any accommodation areas.  Additional cleaning charges at the rate of $50 per hour will be charged for any cleaning costs associated with this. By entering our Holiday Park, the pet owner agrees that the Park Manager reserves the right to evict any guest whose pet is found to be in any accommodation, accommodation areas or Park buildings (with the exception of medically certified guide dogs).

  9.  We understand how important your pet is to your family, so we are pet friendly in our caravan and camping sites only, and at Managements discretion. We do not accept pets in any accommodation types & there are strict guidelines that need to be followed to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests staying with us.  Pets are allowed on sites with a maximum of 2 pets per caravan or camping site. All pets must be kept on a leash, controlled and supervised at all times.  No pets are to be left unattended in the park at any time.

  10. Guests are responsible for ensuring all animal waste is removed, bagged and disposed of in a bin. The pet owner agrees that the Park Manager reserves the right to evict any guests whose pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, and/or aggressive, or is the subject of complaints from other guests.

  11. Check-in: after 2.00pm and Check-out: strictly 10.00am.

  12. All roads to be kept clear at all times. Speed limit on park 8kph.  

  13. QUIET TIME strictly from 10.00 pm till 7.30 am. Please respect your neighbours.

  14. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by a person over 18 years old at all times in ablution blocks and within the pool area.  

  15. Pool closes on dark and is open around 7:30am. NO-ONE is allowed into the pool area after dark and before it re-opens in the morning. 

  16. Push bikes, scooters can be ridden between 8.00am and dusk. (HELMETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES)  

  17. No washing cars, boats or caravans due to water restrictions.

  18. Minimum age to make a reservation: 18. A responsible adult must accompany any persons under 18

  19. Once you have made a booking you have entered into a contract with Shark Bay Caravan Park. For accommodation bookings you will be required to leave a credit card number as a security bond when you check-in. In the absence of a credit card, a $200 cash bond will be required. The bond will be refunded once the room has been inspected by management at the time of check out.

  20.  By entering the Park, a guest agrees to leave their accommodation/site and any facilities used in sound, clean and tidy condition.  If the accommodation or site is found to be excessively dirty, the guests accepts they will be charged an excess cleaning fee of $50 per hour.  All guests are liable for any loss or damages to the Park property. All damages, breakages or losses to the property of the Park, including furniture and furnishings, are to be reported and paid for by the guest.  Any faults or breakages discovered by the guests must be reported within one (1) hour of arrival or we may consider damages to be the responsibility of the guest.


DISCLAIMER: Owners and / or Management assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss of any kind. We reserve the right to select our clientele and guests. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) for detrimental conduct or failure to abide by our rules. Your reservation guarantees you a site – NOT a particular site. Please note booking conditions apply. 


Please be aware from 1st January 2021, our cancellation policy applies, regardless of Coronavirus and imposed travel restrictions.

Our Cancellation Policy for all bookings is:

  • 28 days or more to arrival date, full refund less $20 cancellation fee.

  • 7 – 28 days prior to arrival date, 50% of full tariff refund.

  • 7 days or less to arrival, no refund given.


NO refunds apply for late cancellations or for amendments to bookings following check-in. This means that if you choose to leave earlier than expected after you have checked in, you are not entitled to a refund.

All cancellations must be made in writing.



At Shark Bay Caravan Park we recognise the importance of your data and your privacy rights, and are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in an open and transparent way.

This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, handle, store and protect personal information. The policy covers personal information provided to use when;

People use our website or otherwise provide information to us; and

We perform any other activities that form part of the operation of our business

Examples of Personal Information we might collect include names, gender, addresses, email addresses, phone, billing information, car registration details, social media details and account details.

We may collect personal information directly from our customers to enable us to deliver our services to them.

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. When you go to other websites, you should read their privacy policy.

We use the personal information that we collect as permitted by this Privacy Policy for the following reasons:

To provide services to our customers;

In undertaking marketing and research with our customers and other people;

In understanding website traffic and usage;

To seek feedback on our services;

To manage, improve and tailor the user experience on our websites;

To facilitate our internal and external business processes, including financial operations and reporting;

To notify you about important changes or developments to our services; and

For such secondary purposes that are closely related to the purposes above in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure.

We do not use personal information for any other purposes unless it is necessary to comply with a legal right or duty.
